  14.      The iissssppaaccee() function tests for the standard white¡space characters for
  15.      which isalnum(3) is false.  The standard white¡space characters are the
  16.      following:
  17.  
  18.            ` '    Space character.
  19.            \f     Form feed.
  20.            \n     New¡line.
  21.            \r     Carriage return.
  22.            \t     Horizontal tab.
  23.            \v     And vertical tab.
  24.  
  25.      In the _`_`_C_'_' locale, iissssppaaccee() returns true only for the standard white¡
  26.      space characters.

  29.      The iissssppaaccee() macro returns zero if the character tests false and returns
  30.      non¡zero if the character tests true.
